I've been a Fruity Loops user for years (when the 303 was the only "instrument"), your first tutorial is good, but I may suggest a little more in depth into the interface for the first tutorial(or the next one). I think your concept rocks, and I hope that New Grounds post this for all the future audio producers out there!!! Good Job and Good Luck!

When you calculate the walking frames try to match it with a real person. Try it, take a stop watch and have a friend walk an amount of measured steps. Then match up the steps in the real life "sample" to each step "key frame".

This is a great rough draft, take this outline and tighten up the artwork. One point and case is the scene with the character falling off the building, try to mimic the avatar with real like kinetics ("rag doll" imitation). Good luck and keep flashing.

Your concept is excellent, but the game play is awkward, you need to work on frame rate reduction, which i mean is that you need to lessen your cpu cycles for each "object" that is being rendered. Try to separate the codes and take use of O.O.P, so that each function of the code can run simultaneously. Good Luck!! ;-)
